Falls Mills Sewer Rehabilitation and Replacement

Separate sealed Bids for the Falls Mills Sewer Rehabilitation and Replacement for the Tazewell County Public Service Authority, which consists of the rehabilitation of approximately 180 manholes and 2 sanitary sewer lift stations along with all related appurtenances will be received by Jan Cordle, Director, at the office of the Tazewell County Public Service Authority 168 Tazewell Mall Circle, Tazewell, Virginia 24651, until 2:00 P.M., local prevailing time, on December 11th, 2024, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The Contract Documents may be examined at the Tazewell County Public Service Authority; at Thompson & Litton, 726 Auburn Avenue, Radford, VA; and online at TRASCO (http://www.trascoplanroom.com).

Copies of the Contract Documents (electronic and/or hard copy) are available for purchase through TRASCO at http://www.trascoplanroom.com.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on November 6th, 2024 at 10:00 A.M.  All interested parties are requested to meet the Engineer at Tazewell County Public Service Authority Office 168 Tazewell Mall Circle, Tazewell, VA 24651 at that time.

Withdrawal of bids shall be according to procedure (i) of the Virginia Public Procurement Act and to the Code of Virginia (§ 2.2-4330).

Bids must be accompanied by Bid security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders.

All Contractors are hereby advised that a portion of this project is funded from the Virginia Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund (VCWRLF).  Bidders must comply with the President’s Executive Order #11246 prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, sex, or national origin and Executive Orders #12138 and 11625 regarding utilization of MBE/WBE firms; and the Civil Rights Act of 1964.  Bidders must certify that they do not or will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin.  Bidders must also comply with the Davis-Bacon Act and other requirements more particularly described in the Bid Documents.

The Contract(s) shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder(s). 

Instructions for Downloads & Extracting Files.

Click the download button.
The download queue shows your items selected to download.
Click Continue to enter payment information. Click Submit Payment to download the files.
Note the filename ( Download_#### ) if you need to search for it later.
Save your file. Typically it saves by default to your ( Downloads ) folder.
Open your File Explorer and browse to your ( Downloads ) Folder.
Find the Download_###.zip file you downloaded. Right Click on the Download_####.zip file and click ( Extract All ). A Window will popup Extract Compressed ( Zipped ) Folders. The default should extract and create a sub-folder in your Downloads folder with the PDF files inside. Keep your ZIP Files in case you misplace, delete or corrupt your PDF file(s). You can always just extract them again. Once you have extracted the files this way you can move the unpacked folder or files. If you try to move the files out of the zip file any other way you run the risk of corrupting the pdf file(s)…
