Replacement of Windows and Storefront at Preston Hall at Radford University

Sealed bids are invited for the Replacement of Windows and Storefront at Preston Hall at Radford University in Radford, VA. The project is generally described as the replacement of existing windows and storefront at Preston Hall with new storefront windows and entrances.

Sealed bids will be received at the Armstrong Facilities Management Building, Facilities Planning and Construction Office, 501 Stockton Street, Radford University, Radford, Virginia 24142. The deadline for submitting bids is 2:00 P.M. sharp, as determined by the Bid Officer, on April 15, 2025. The bids will be opened publicly and read aloud beginning at 2:00 P.M., on April 16, 2025, at the same location.

A Standard Commonwealth Bid Bond is required (form CO-10.2 and Contract Security is required) for any bid regardless of bid amount.

eVA Vendor Registration: The bidder or offeror shall be a registered vendor in eVA. See the attached eVA Vendor Registration Requirements.

Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and § 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The

Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

A pre-bid conference will be held at the Armstrong Facilities Management Building, Facilities Planning and Construction, 501 Stockton Street, Radford University, Radford, Virginia 24142 at 10:00 AM, on April 1, 2025.

Attendance shall not be a prerequisite for submitting a bid, but it is strongly recommended that all interested parties attend the pre-bid conference.

The contract shall be awarded on a lump sum basis as follows: the Total Base Bid Amount including any properly submitted and received bid modifications. ‘Notice of Award’ or ‘Notice of Intent to Award’ will be posted on eVA, Virginia Department of General Services’ central electronic procurement website, at https://eva.virginia.gov

Contractor registration is required in accordance with Section 54.1-1103 of the Code of Virginia. See the Invitation for Bids for additional qualification requirements.

All executive branch agencies are directed to advance Executive Order 35, dated July 3, 2019.

The Invitation for Bids for the above project, including the drawings and the specifications containing the information necessary for bidding, are available at TRASCO, http://www.trascoplanroom.com. No partial sets will be issued. Bidder is responsible for purchase. No refunds.

Instructions for Downloads & Extracting Files.

The download queue shows your items selected to download.
Click Continue to enter payment information. Click Submit Payment to download the files.
Note the filename ( Download_#### ) if you need to search for it later.
Save your file. Typically it saves by default to your ( Downloads ) folder.
Open your File Explorer and browse to your ( Downloads ) Folder.
Find the Download_###.zip file you downloaded. Right Click on the Download_####.zip file and click ( Extract All ). A Window will popup Extract Compressed ( Zipped ) Folders. The default should extract and create a sub-folder in your Downloads folder with the PDF files inside. Keep your ZIP Files in case you misplace, delete or corrupt your PDF file(s). You can always just extract them again. Once you have extracted the files this way you can move the unpacked folder or files. If you try to move the files out of the zip file any other way you run the risk of corrupting the pdf file(s)…
